History
Itinerent Arabian farm began in May, 1966 with two stud colts and 3 mares. These horses were from the original foundational imports of W.R.Brown, Mr. Harris, Travelers Rest, Cedardell Arabians, and Witez II breeding. They were purchased from Mr. Louis C. Steiner, Latrobe, Pa.. Forty six years later we are proud of what we have accomplished. Our horses have excellent confirmation, refined heads, are gentle, intelligent, and afraid of nothing. They are born into pastures with a creek, trees, terraces, and open space. They live in a herd and know how to get along with other horses.
Visitors are often overwhelmed by our Arabian's friendly demeanor and beauty. . One can walk among them without fear. They love attention and affection. We have recently discovered they are ideal endurance horses. In fact they are close up in their breeding to fountain Arabians brought to this country in the 1920s and 30s. Seven of them are in Endurance training, and 5 will be shown this year. Itinerent Smoke recently placed 2nd in the Whitehaven, SC ride, and received the best condition award. In three other races the horses have placed 3rd, 5th, 15th, and 30th. None of these horses had been ridden before February, 2008.
Most of them are for sale at reasonable prices. If the boys continue to do better in Endurance Rides our prices will go higher. Have some excellent young horses for sale at very reasonable prices.
Will lease horses to buy. Good credit time payments available.
